Taisiya Matrosova completed the ICEF Bachelor’s programme in 2016, receiving a First Class Honours degree from University of London and recently finished studies under Imperial College Business School’s Master’s programme in Finance. In the interview below, Taisya tells us about interesting coincidences, secrets for survival at Imperial College, and useful skills you get at ICEF that can be used in future studies.

After finishing her ICEF Bachelor’s degree in 2014, Anastasia Belugina applied to France’s ESSEC Business School, where she was able to mix work and her studies. In the following interview, Anastasia talks about the French ‘art of living’, how to garner trust from one’s employers, and how to properly choose an internship and network effectively in Paris.

For his outstanding academic progress, active life stance, and striving for personal development, ICEF 2-year master’s student Sergey Filyasov won Golden HSE Award in nomination Silver Nestling. Sergey’s other accolades include the prize from HSE 2018 Student Research Project Competition, and the place on RF Presidential Scholarship program. In his interview, Sergey spoke about what it takes to become a researcher, why studying in Russia is advantageous, and why health is pursued by economists as a research topic.

The results are in for the Competition of the Best Thesis Projects, held by the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy for the graduates of economics faculties.

On December 15, the 2^nd Anti-Conference of Graduates was held in conjunction with the New Year’s get-together of all ICEF alumni. This event was held at Hyundai Motorstudio Moscow and turned out to be very lively and exciting.
