The International Moscow Finance Conference will open its doors for the twelfth time on 24 and 25 November 2023. We talked with conference organizers Vladimir Sokolov of HSE ICEF International Laboratory of Financial Economics and Maria Semenova of HSE Centre for Institutional Studies and asked about the keynote presentations, speakers, and how this Conference facilitates cooperation and co-authorships.

On October 28, 2023 ICEF held the Fifth Conference on Applied Economics at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

Dr. Subrato Banerjee of Indian Institute of Technology Conducted Seminar at ICEF
Dr. Subrato Banerjee is a behavioural economist teaching at the Indian Institute of Technology Department of Economics (Bombay) with interests in game theory and behavioural economics. His seminar was hosted by HSE campus on Pokrovsky Boulevard and was followed by a meeting with Maxim Nikitin, ICEF Master’s Programme Academic Supervisor, where the two sides discussed the possibility of starting a double-degree master’s programme. In the evening, ICEF welcomed Dr. Banerjee for a meeting with its faculty.

Associate Professor Anna Yurko holds a PhD in Economics and is coordinating ICEF’s MSc Programme as Assistant Academic Supervisor. Anna’s research interests lie at the interface of economics and social sciences. Her 2015 study into the multiple-child allowance policy, co-authored with Fabian Slonimczyk, was conferred the Yegor Gaidar Award. Professor Tsyplakov also contributed to HSE Аpril Conference and did a talk about federal intervention strategies that helps banks to avoid bankruptcy.
