Dmitry Filippov, who is in his fourth year of BSc Economics and Finance, was excused from classes in the campus in Pokrovsky Boulevard for a period of three months. The reason was his exchange studies with Shanghai University under the three-month exchange programme between schools in Russia and China. Here’s Dmitry’s impressions and takeaways from his experience of international communication.
What hurdles do our graduating students face? Some questions that seem to concern them the most are, “Do I have the right skills and enough knowledge? What will my workplace tasks really be like? On November 22, 2024, the International Laboratory of Financial Economics (LFE, ICEF HSE) hosted the 13th International Moscow Finance Conference, bringing together researchers and experts from various countries to discuss current issues in financial economics. In his welcoming speech, Vladimir Sokolov, Head of the Laboratory, emphasised the significance of financial market research for the global economy.
On 17 November 2024 ICEF opened its doors to the prospective students looking to join its Master’s Programme in Financial Economics, providing a comprehensive insight into its range of courses and daily pursuits. Those who couldn’t attend in person were able to join the session online.
