In early December 2025, the HSE International College of Economics and Finance (HSE ICEF) held a student meeting with Stefan Dürr, founder and President of the EkoNiva Group, at the HSE building on Pokrovsky Bulvar. The entrepreneur spoke about his journey from running a small farm in southern Germany to building the largest agribusiness in Russia, and offered advice to aspiring entrepreneurs on how to succeed in the industry. The event continued a series of meetings between ICEF students and prominent Russian practising economists and business leaders.

Professor Sergey Tsyplakov of University of South Carolina Moore School of Business (USA) has recently hosted the ICEF student research seminar and met with college faculty. Professor Tsyplakov also contributed to HSE Аpril Conference and did a talk about federal intervention strategies that helps banks to avoid bankruptcy.

For the third year running, the Higher School of Economics is leading the top 100 Russian universities ranking, released by Forbes magazine for the fifth time.

Philipp Gabunia, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia, has recently met with students of HSE University. His lecture opened a series of meetings with leading practicing economists on the development of Russia's economy in the current environment.

On October 23-24, the International Moscow Finance Conference will open its doors for the ninth time, organized by ICEF in cooperation with the London School of Economics. This year’s speakers include editors of two major economic journals.
