HSE has celebrated the completion of its largest sports and fitness event – Inter-Campus Student Football Festival HSE CUP 2023. Competing in it were the teams of HSE Moscow, HSE Nizhny Novgorod and HSE St. Petersburg.

The 15th of May witnessed the senior managers, programme coordinators, faculty members and students of ICEF and the Faculty of Economic Sciences (FES) welcome the officials and administrators of the International Department of the School of Economics, Shanghai University.
Alexander Zayonts, Founder, President and CEO at Hoff hypermarket chain, delivered his talk, entitled “Promoting Business Under Restrictions”, as part of a series of sessions with leading Russian practicing economists and entrepreneurs. Alexander has a place on ICEF Endowment Fund Board of Trustees. Acting as the moderator was HSE University President Alexander Shokhin.
ICEF has a tradition: every year its students sit their accounting exam dressed in New Year’s Eve costumes. The students and the teachers use the celebratory atmosphere to relieve the tension from the strenuous examination tests and to ease into new module.
Philipp Gabunia, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia, has recently met with students of HSE University. His lecture opened a series of meetings with leading practicing economists on the development of Russia's economy in the current environment.
HSE University is renting a 27-storey block of a new apartment complex, Level Amurskaya, located in the Golyanovo District of Moscow. Only university students will be accommodated in the building, and they will have their choice of renting a single studio or a shared apartment. This agreement is another step towards HSE's transition to a service model for accommodating nonresident and foreign students as part of the University Development Program until 2030.
Both teams will advance to the regional level competition, which will be held in Jordan in early April to demonstrate the skill of investment management on the international level.
Once a year ICEF finds time to host reporters on all kinds of unscientific topics. The 2017 graduates (the year ICEF had its anniversary) meet at the New Year holiday gathering called “Unconference”, where they take the floor to talk on what is essential but outrageously unacademic.Who presented at Anticonference-2019? In September 2019 ICEF partners from University of London and London School of Economics came with a traditional visit.
On September 13, ICEF hosted a welcome ceremony for the BSc double degree programme’s second year students, who will be commencing their studies in the University of London’s (UoL) International Programme.
