Denis Bondarenko enrolled in ICEF’s MSc Programme in 2020 after earning his bachelor’s in Economics from St. Petersburg State University. Currently a trader with Sparkland Trading (Dubai) – a company with extensive experience on crypto markets – Denis shares how his master’s study levelled up his tech skills, what adds value to ICEF Career Services, and why crypto traders are attracted to Dubai.

The HSE University has summed up the results of its Student Research Paper Competition-2022, held among students and graduates. For the representatives of ICEF, this contest was yet another proof of their excellent performance. Four won prizes as best finance and economics papers, three more received an honourable mention. This year’s competition among participants was greater than ever: since 2021 the authors of the winning papers receive a special scholarship from HSE for exceptional academic achievements.

Jamila Fomina earned her Master’s in Financial Economics from ICEF in 2020 and her bachelor’s from HSE Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs. Andrei Kostylev graduated from the ICEF Master’s Programme in 2012, and is now a Senior Manager in the Strategic Direction department at the state corporation Rosatom. On Saturdays, Andrei leads a course in Business Negotiation and workshops on ‘The Foundations of Banking and Finance” for ICEF students. Andrei told us a little about his studies and career.

On 15th September theInternational College of Economics and Finance ICEF held its Graduation ceremony at the British Ambassador’s residence in Moscow for the 15th year in a row. At the ceremony, students were awarded their diplomas for the Double Degree programmes run jointly by ICEF and the London School of Economics.
