Interview with ICEF Director Sergey Yakovlev from August 8 2017 about ICEF history

In March ICEF Assistant Professor Kosmas Marinakis presented a 2-Lecture Course on professionalism for ICEF students. In this interview he talks about the course objectives.

The Higher School of Economics has made it onto 13 subject and two subject area rankings in the QS World University Ranking thanks to the university’s achievements as part of the Project 5-100. In addition, HSE was in the top 100 ranking for three subjects – Economics & Econometrics, Politics & International Studies, and Sociology – and it was the only Russian school in the Accounting & Finance 101-150 ranking. As for total number of subject rankings, HSE was third in Russia.

Andrei Kostylev graduated from the ICEF Master’s Programme in 2012, and is now a Senior Manager in the Strategic Direction department at the state corporation Rosatom. On Saturdays, Andrei leads a course in Business Negotiation and workshops on ‘The Foundations of Banking and Finance” for ICEF students. Andrei told us a little about his studies and career.

On 15th September theInternational College of Economics and Finance ICEF held its Graduation ceremony at the British Ambassador’s residence in Moscow for the 15th year in a row. At the ceremony, students were awarded their diplomas for the Double Degree programmes run jointly by ICEF and the London School of Economics.  

On November 17, SU-HSE was honoured by a visit of one of the most distinguished experts in economics and finance in the world, LSE Director Howard Davies.
