“At least 1 year of experience” is a requirement to be encountered in many job postings. But how can students and graduates start jobs in their degree field when they have no experience? We asked this question to the head of ICEF Career Services Victoria Pralich and the students of HSE International College of Economics and Finance.

In 2020, prospective students got a new experience: touring and getting to know universities remotely. After passing entrance exams online, many of them are now studying online and have yet to see HSE University in person. We asked Aiganym Daupbayeva, first-year student of the HSE and University of London Double Degree Programme in Economics from Kazakhstan about her experience attending HSE virtually. She discussed how to get into HSE and take classes without leaving your home, and why international students choose HSE University.
Khushnuda Khamidova earned her BSc degree in Economics with Finance in Tashkent before she enrolled in ICEF MSc Programme – the choice she made to gain expert knowledge and life experience.
Initiated by ICEF Alumni Association Board, the Mentoring Programme was launched in 2016, an endeavour first pioneered by ICEF and currently adhered to by entire HSE.
Both teams will advance to the regional level competition, which will be held in Jordan in early April to demonstrate the skill of investment management on the international level.
