I am looking forward to joining the Summer School and exploring LSE’s academic culture. Previous years’ students tell us the teaching and learning process there is different from what we’ve experienced at ICEF. Aside from courses, I’m eager to meet the teachers and the students, many of whom come from overseas. Cultural exchange is a great way to help one take a fresh look at familiar things.

I am glad to be able to join LSE Summer School this summer. I’m planning to do a master’s, so this trip is a great opportunity for me to see if I should study abroad, especially since most of the universities I am considering are based in London.

I’ve applied for the Econometrics course, which I hope will give me the knowledge that students normally don’t cover in their third year of study at ICEF. And I’m certainly looking forward to meeting peers from other countries! I’m curious to learn about their life goals and what they value most in university life. And I also hope to be able to go to Dover, which is south of England, for a weekend.

Also, some of ICEF’s first- and second-year undergraduates will be able to spend the first semester of the next academic year on an exchange at The Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.

The call for applications is open until the 25th of May 2022.
The five students to go to China will be selected based on their academic rating.
