'The aftermath of COVID-19: The Macroeconomy, Banks and NPLs'

The COVID-19 virus has led to significant economic and financial disruption globally. In this talk I will discuss the harsh economic reality we face and the burden of bad debt and NPLs that will need to be dealt with. I will present some of the models I have been working on and through them the macroprudential and NPL resolution policies that central banks are considering.
