Orientation Seminars for ICEF’s Newly Recruited Teachers

Traditionally hosted by ICEF Teaching and Learning Center, the orientation seminars are designed to provide onboarding experience to all newly recruited academic staff whether with or without previous experience as lecturers or seminar hosts.

Orientation Seminars for ICEF’s Newly Recruited Teachers

The orientation seminars are two-day sessions and intend to advise the newly hired teachers of the features inherent in the ICEF’s academic system. Conducted by ICEF’s established faculty, they are a good opportunity to familiarize with ICEF’s philosophy and teaching principles, as well as to develop a sense of belonging and feel fully part of the ICEF community.

In his opening speech, ICEF Deputy Director Oleg Zamkov outlined the basic architecture of ICEF’s academic environment and curriculum framework. Day One was hosted by Natalia Kolyadina, who is in charge of ICEF Teaching and Learning Center and has delivered interactive training on T&L theory and processes. Day Two walked the new hires through paper grading and feedback.

Lecturer Yaroslav Lyulko, who joined ICEF in 2020, provided his vision of a continuous learning track across related domains. Yaroslav has been demonstrating high efficiency using online tools and various communication channels in the delivery of classes and office hours. He leads training projects and promotes student initiatives.

Congratulations on becoming part of our team! We are excited about your input and contribution to the learning process.
