11-14 April 2012 ICEF assistant professors Vladimir Sokolov and Sergey Gelman attended the annual conference held by the Eastern Finance Association in Boston, USA. The conference was attended by economists from the U.S and Europe.

Vladimir Sokolov presented his work "Tracing the Impact of Central Bank Liquidity Infusions on Financially Constrained Banks: Evidence from a Natural Experiment". In addition, Vladimir was a discussant of a paper "The Cross-Market Spillover of Economic Shocks through Multi-Market Banks", written by a group of economists working at the Federal Reserve System of the United States.

Sergey Gelman was a chairman of the session, “Options: Returns, Platformsand Pricing”, in which his paper "Pricing
options with regular jumps" was also presented: the report did the co-author of Sergey, ICEF graduate and teacher Dmitri Storcheus.
