LSE ranked second in the world - and top in Europe- in social science and management 2019

QS published rankings of the best universities in the world by subject areas. The London School of Economics, which has been working with ICEF for over 20 years and participating in the implementation of Bachelor’s Double Degree Programme and Master’s program in Financial Economics, again has taken 1st place in Europe and 2nd in the world (after Harvard University) in the "Social Sciences and Management" subject area.

Commenting on the School’s latest rankings success, LSE Director Minouche Shafik said: “Our position as a world leader in these rankings - for the seventh year in a row - is well-deserved recognition for the outstanding work taking place across the School.

Through our unwavering commitment to the social sciences having global impact, LSE will continue to educate students and generate ideas that help shape the world’s political, economic and social future for the better.”

Published annually since 2011, QS World University Rankings by subject are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact. The rankings use data from 1,200 universities from 78 countries.

We heartily congratulate our colleagues and partners!
