ICEF Team Wins Axenix Business Cup & HSE Case Club 2024

Axenix Business Cup & HSE Case Club 2024 awarded its top prize to the team of third-year students of ICEF. Consisting of Ivan Zaikin (leader), Arslan Gilmutdinov, Dmitry Filippov, Ruslan Kerimov, Alexey Golovshchinsky and Gleb Smirnov, the team goes under the name Equilibrium Solutions.

This has been the first case championship organized by the consulting firm Axenix. A three-stage competition, it tasked 150 teams and 650 students from all over Russia with solving bank M&A cases and preparing competitor takeover bids. The competition held its final stage at Axenix head office in Moscow. Instead of the traditional PowerPoints, the contestants were to negotiate potential mergers onstage and present their bids containing concept, roadmap, IT infrastructure, customer journeys and finance model. Our team coped just perfectly and landed the top prize – fast track hiring to Axenix.
