Research at ICEF

ICEF faculty conduct research that is published in internationally leading peer-reviewed journals. They regularly participate in major international conferences in Economics and Finance. The ICEF International Laboratory of Financial Economics organizes annual conferences and workshops in Economics and Finance, attracting leading researchers from around the world to participate. ICEF conducts a regular research seminar series inviting world-renown academics to present their latest research.

March 19-24, 2012 the 46th Annual Conference of IATEFL took place in Glasgow (UK). The conference was attended by over 2000 delegates, 400 of them presented their papers. ICEF English language course coordinator, professor Elena Velikaya presented two papers: “Assessment of extended essays in an ESP / EAP classroom” at the section of ESP and EAP and the presentation of a special course “English for Academic World”.
Both presentations aroused great interest among teachers from different countries and a lively discussion.
