ICEF introduces a new system of scholarships and financial awards for its Master's in Financial Economics enrollment 2021. The scholarships are merit-based and will be awarded to ten best performing students. The scholarship funding available in 2021-2022 academic year totals RUB 750,000.
What is it?
Nonresident and international students with higher academic performance can now apply for financial support in the form of a scholarship for partial coverage of their housing rent in Moscow. In pursuit of higher quality of education, ICEF encourages its best performing students financially beginning from the entrance tests. The 2021-2022 scholarship funding totals RUB 750,000 and will be allocated over the period of ten months (ten awards of RUB 75,000 to cover rent expense).
Eligibility criteria
Scholarships will be awarded mainly to first-year students and have a timeline of ten months. Eligible for them are nonresident and international students who have shown good results in entrance tests.
Eligible students will retain the scholarship on condition that at the end of their first year they rank among the top five best-performing students. The total number of scholarships is ten and these will be awarded to the ten highest-ranking applicants.
Payment frequency
There will be two installments, one in September 2021 in amount of RUB 45,000 and the other in February 2022 after winter examinations in amount of RUB 30,000. In the event the recipient ceases to be a student, they lose their scholarship.

Your application should be addressed to the ICEF Director and supported with a document confirming your residence outside the city of Moscow. Please send your application to Icef_MScAdmissions@hse.ru at any time during the enrolment campaign between June 21 and July 26, 2021.
Our scholarship board will have the recipients list approved by the 31st of August 2021.
