March 18, 2011 the HSE Cultural Center hosted a charity concert organized by the charitable organization of ICEF students “ICEF Outreach”.

Such a charity event occurred at the HSE for the first time. People who came on Friday at the HSE Cultural Center were united by one common feeling - a feeling of indifference to one of the major problems of modern society. It is very important for children, who for various reasons are forced to grow up without a family, to understand that they are not alone and that there are people who care about their fate. Material and humanitarian assistance plays a huge role in helping children, but communication and participation are more important. That was the main reason for organizing such a concert.

Before the concert itself the guests  listen to nice tunes by the jazz band in the lobby of HSE Cultural Center. ICEF students also organized a homemade bake sale, which was of a great popularity among the guests of the evening.

"We are ordinary students, and we are helping orphanages " - with these words began the concert of the evening, which included: presentation of HSE student choir "Force Major", step dance, the duet of cello and piano, a video message from Konstantin Sedov, the manager of the project  "Hospital clowning", and many others.

Special guests of the evening were: Yevgeny Yasin, Irina Yassina, Viktor Shenderovich, Svetlana Sorokina, Tatyana Tulchinskaya and others.

Also, the guests could take part in a charity auction, where one can win a lot of interesting things: from an exclusive cake from ICEF Outreach to the session with a professional photographer.

All collected funds will be used to repair bathrooms at the orphanage in Kalyazin, purchase educational materials for the orphanage in the city Elatma, as well as to help orphanage graduates.
