Visit of the British Ambassador to Russia Mrs. Anne Pringle to ICEF

On Monday, October 19 the British Ambassador to Russia Mrs. Anne Pringle  gave a lecture to ICEF students and students of other HSE departments.

Theme: "Global economy and stocktake on UK/Russia relations."

In her speech the Ambassador spoke about the strengthening of economic and political relations between Britain and Russia, stabilization of Russia's economy, Russian investment in the British economy.

After the lecture, the Ambassador invited everyone to ask any further questions. ICEF students did not efface themselves and raised a very wide range of issues, ranging from the development of joint educational programs in Russia and the United Kingdom and Russia's automobile industry hardships to such political issues as the characteristics of Britain's relationship with other European Union countries and the conflict between Georgia and Russia. And despite the abundance and diversity of issues, Anne Pringle has left no questions unanswered and provided a very competent commentary on each of them.
