HSE University revised the admission procedure for international students

Beginning with 2019 international students applying to HSE undergraduate programmes may present their scores on standardized admission tests in English and in Mathematics instead of taking HSE entrance examinations. The approved scheme suggests converting the applicants’ scores on the tests into the 100-scale of HSE entrance examinations.

The following international admissions tests are accepted by HSE University:

In Mathematics: Advanced Placement Test in Calculus AB or Calculus BC, Advanced Level (A-Level) Mathematics or Further Mathematics, International Baccalaureate (IB) (Mathematics, standard level, higher level, Further mathematics, higher level).

In English language: International English Language Testing System (IELTS), iBT Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE), Business English Certificate Higher (Bec H).

The scores conversion table can be found here >>.
