ICEF hosted a VTB Master Class

"VTB Corporate and Investment Bank from a Quant / Exotic Trading Perspective”

On December 5, 2018 ICEF hosted a VTB Bank Master Class “VTB Corporate and Investment Bank from a Quant / Exotic Trading Perspective” being initiated by ICEF MSc graduate Kirill Klimov (Quantitative research VTB Capital Investment Business) and Nikita Novydarskov (representative of the London Office of VTB Capital Investment Business).

The Master Class offered an insight into the day-to-day life of the trading floor of one of the largest Russian CIB. The event started with a brief presentation of the investment bank industry followed by a case study, during which students had an opportunity to discover a full lifecycle of a complex financial product. ICEF students got a unique opportunity to find out the real life cases and learn from market practitioners.

In the Q&A sessions the participants had an opportunity to ask their questions and find out more on VTB Group* as well as got a chance to be considered as candidates for the Bank Front Office open positions.
