A Glimpse into ICEF Winter Examination Session: New Year’s Carnival

ICEF has a good tradition of encouraging its students to sit their first winter examination, Accounting, dressed in fancy New Year’s outfits.

Are the New Year’s holidays over? Elsewhere, yes, but not here. Yesterday’s Accounting exam combined the New Year’s carnival with the spirit of Yuletide. Judging by the number of the fancy outfits in the exam room, the festive mood was in the air. Traditionally, the idea for “exam in fancy dress” came from its organizer Olesya Kondrakhina, who continues to be voted by the students as best teacher since 2017.

Did you notice the abacus on the desk? The students are allowed to bring it in and are awarded extra points for using it instead of electronic calculators.
