Further Study

ICEF provides support to any of its students wishing to engage in further study. We can provide advice on choosing a university and a programme, and filling out documents for applications to foreign universities.

To find out about upcoming events related to further study, check the ICEF students site, the ICEF TimePad page, or on the Career Centre’s VK page.

Individual Consultations

We believe that one-on-one consultations with students are the most effective way to help them. This includes:

  • Guidance in choosing a university and Master’s or PhD programme
  • Help in preparing the documentation required to make an application
  • Putting students in touch with our graduates that are studying, or have studied, at the relevant universities

In the year 2015-15 ICEF welcomed representatives from various universities and business schools, such as the LSE, London Business School, Oxford and international education organisations like MBA Strategy and Students International.

At ICEF there are also events with graduates and teachers who share their experiences of studying for Master’s and PhD degrees with students. In 2014-15 Artem Neklyudov (Université de Lausanne) and Sergei Popov Queen's University Belfast came to ICEF to speak with students.

Doctorates and Academic Careers

We support students interesting in pursuing an academic career in the following ways:

  • Consultations choosing and applying to PhD programmes
  • Contacting teachers, admissions committees and ICEF graduates at relevant universities
  • Supply of Letters of Recommendation and help in preparing and publishing research
Consequently, some ICEF graduates each year enroll on PhD programmes at some of the leading universities in the world (see the Alumni section for more details). Some of them enroll immediately after completing their BSc without studying for a Master’s.
