UoL International Students Celebrate Graduation

An official graduation reception for students taking part in University of London’s (UoL's) international programmes in economics, management and social sciences was held on March 5 at the London School of Economics (LSE). LSE is one of the global leaders in these fields. Many graduates, faculty members, students and representatives from other universities were at the event. The ceremony opened with a word from LSE Director Minouche Shafik, who congratulated the students, as well as their parents, friends and professors, noting the large amount of time that goes into pursuing a high-quality education at LSE and University of London. Hundreds of graduates from around the world (Russia, the UK, Europe, Asia and Latin America) attended the event.

A gala ceremony for students graduating from University of London’s (UoL) international programmes took place at the Barbican Centre on March 6. ICEF graduates, along with their parents and teachers, as well as other HSE representatives, attended the ceremony. The students received their degree certificates from UoL Chancellor, Princess Anne of the United Kingdom, and UoL Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Adrian Smith.

A total of 171 ICEF students graduated with HSE and University of London double degree in economics. In addition, 49 of them received First Class Honours. All graduates with First Class Honours were greeted with a round of applause.
