Holder of ICEF Master’s Degree Among Forbes “30 Under 30” Honorees

Forbes Russia’s “30 Under 30” published its seventh annual list. The rating recognizes the most promising young individuals in Russia under 30, who have demonstrated significant achievements in their respective industries locally or globally. Danila Musinov, who holds a Master’s in Financial Economics (2022) from ICEF and is currently responsible for investment analysis at Alfa-Bank, features as winner in Finance and Investment category.

Career progression. Danila Musinov holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from HSE St. Petersburg and a master’s degree from ICEF HSE, Moscow. He interned with Gazpromneft as a consultant and with EY audit services. Danila joined McKinsey as a consulting analyst and then served in the Department of Alternative Investment at Aton. In 2021 Danila joined pre-IPO team of BCS as a senior investment analyst and grew to the position of associate in the course of eighteen months. 

Milestone deals. In 2024 Danila moved to Alfa-Bank, where he first managed the pre-IPO for “Beri Zaryad!” (a powerbank sharing service) and Ultimate Education and was later involved in the sale of the former to Yandex. “That deal allowed us to effect Russia’s first ever mechanism of private investor share buyback via a brokerage infrastructure,” claimed Musinov.
